Does it seem like this process is dragging on to anybody else? We are absolutely dying…

We went to see Dr. Judd this morning. Kerrie is dialated to a one, which was decent news, but somewhat disappointing given the news you’re about to read. The good doctor told us our baby is going to be pretty large. If Kerrie goes full-term, the baby will be around 8.5 pounds. If she goes late, it could easily be a nine-pounder. This was not the news that poor, swollen Kerrie wanted to hear. But at least we have the technology to know.

Well, the construction is supposedly going to be completed tomorrow evening. Since the windows were special ordered, they took several weeks to get here. They got here last week. But because of the gloomy weather we’ve had for the past few weeks, they couldn’t cut the concrete. Tomorrow is supposed to be mostly sunny, so hopefully they can pull it off in one day.

After the windows, Maran and Scott’s side will also be painted and recarpeted. We hope that all of this will be done before Friday so that they can move into their apartment this weekend. It would be pretty cramped if we had to bring our baby home to a construction zone packed with two couples in it! Well, that’s the news!
