Construction Update

Hey all,
Well, we actually have seen progress in the construction at our apartment. It’s been a long, painfully slow process, but they finally got the concrete cut for all four windows. The windows are HUGE compared to the other ones in our house, which will be nice when the place burns to the ground (which, given the wiring, could be anyday now).
I’d love to upload some pictures but unfortunately our apartment is still in shambles…one of these days I’ll get more pics uploaded (that’s what I’ve been saying since last month right?). We’re now waiting on the sheetrock dude to come put the walls back together and to paint. Hopefully, they’ll also put the carpet in by Friday, so that Maran and Scott have the weekend to move in. I have a hunch that the baby could be born this weekend, so the timing might work out perfect!
Last night we stayed at my mom’s house to get away from the dust…it was fun to visit and have a sleepover. We were going to make baby bracelets for our little petunia, but we didn’t have the string to do it. I hate to admit it, but I LOVE baby jewelry. We’re pretty excited to dress our little daughter up. But, I don’t think we’ll pierce her ears, as is becoming the trend nowadays.
Let’s see…what else is new? Oh, I am on an intramural softball team…which is a first at BYU. I have played city league a couple years since the mission, but this is my first intramurals at the Y, which is kinda sad considering I have only a year left. Well, that’s about it! Please keep coming back and stay in touch!
