I am glad to see that you buy creamy peanut butter, and not chunky. Chunky seems like a rip off to me, because sure, you get more peanuts, but you get less butter, which is what it is all about. I guess you could say chunky peanut butter is not a "great value." Pun intended. I have to say- chocolate peanutbutter ice cream is my favorite. It is hard to find, but sooo delicious! Another way to attract birds- is to let your one year old drop a whole box of goldfish crackers in the grass! I couldn't get it all out. We have had a lot of birdies this week nibling on goldfish. Especially in Allies case she could have gotten severely ill. Oh my gosh, I am so grateful you didn't open the Peter Pan. It might have been in there even though it wasn't in the Wal Mart brand. Wow, you just never know where these bacteria are going to show up, spinach, lettuce, mushrooms, cantaloupe, and now pnbutter.
