December

It would take WAY too much time to tell you about all that we’ve done in the past month. So here are some bullet points and some pictures to go along with them:
-
I taught preschool and threw a Preschool Christmas party
-
Allie and I went with our girlfriends to Disney on Ice. Allie was in heaven!
-
Went to the Raleigh temple to see a Live Nativity Scene and show Allie the temple. They also had a room for kids to dress up and Allie had fun dressing up as Mary. She couldn’t stop kissing the baby doll.
- Went to the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro
- We had a Christmas Eve dinner with some friends
-
Christmas morning was so perfect. Allie got EVERYTHING she wanted (way too much princess stuff). It was such a peaceful and relaxing day.
-
We went to Corolla, NC to a beach house with some friends over New Years. It was freezing so we mainly stayed indoors. We played lots of games and soaked in the hot tub.
- Preschool Christmas Party
- Disney on Ice
- Allie and Cinderella
- Raleigh Temple
- Allie as Mary
- Which one is the gorilla?
- The Zoo
- Luke at the zoo
- Allie’s favorite gift from Santa
- Lasagna Christmas Dinner
- Allie heart Luke
- Enduring the freezing wind at Nag’s Head on January 3rd.
- Girls dominated the boys in pictionary
We had a wonderful month but we missed family greatly! One of my goals this year is to update this blog more often…I’ve been slacking. Happy New Year to everyone!

Allie is seriously photogenic. Even Luke takes such great pictures! You guys make North Carolina seem pretty amazing. Why would you ever want to leave with so many fun things to do and so many neat friends?
Miss you!

I love the picture with you and Luke at the zoo. It’s so cute! The one of Allie and Luke is cute, too. You have really cute kids. I’m glad that you guys had a good December. We missed you at Christmas.

Kerrie, can I just say, you have the most beautiful smile
I know I’ve seen it a million times, but really, it’s a gorgeous, effortless, striking smile. Really pretty.
oh ya, and Merry Christmas. You look like you had a million things going on
fun. I haven’t tackled the “Christmas Blog” yet. . . I’m sure I’ll get to it. . . maybe.

We missed you this year! It looks like it was a fun month. Luke is getting so big…..he is such a cutie. We need to plan another trip out that way– we loved visiting you guys. Isn’t Corolla the same area we went to? Who’s beachhouse?

Looks like it was a fun December. You are actually going to miss this time of your life when you are settled and school is over. I am glad you guys are making the most of it while you are there. That lasagna looks scrumptious. I would like to taste it someday. Yes, we missed you guys terribly. I am looking forward to seeing you in May! Love ya. Mom
