We’re having a GIRL

In case you haven’t heard through the grapevine, we found out this morning we are having a girl! She looks healthy and is on target to arrive at the end of May. Allie has been saying it’s a girl all along so I’m glad I didn’t have to disappoint her with other news.
Now I’m going to have to sort through all of Allie’s old baby clothes and see what’s still usable. We also need to come up with a name for her. Deciding on a name has always been hard for us. Luckily, we still have 5 more months to decide. (BTW, when we told Allie the baby is a girl, she leaned over and whispered to me, “I want to name her Tinkerbell.” Hmm, not so sure about that one hon).
Here’s a scanned picture. That is her foot above her forehead and her knee above her chin. She’s a flexible one.

Well I am thrilled to be the first one to leave a comment. Wahoo! Another beautiful, blue eyed (most likely) Thornock girl. Allie will have a younger sister to be close with for the rest of her life. I am so happy. Fun shopping days are ahead

Yea! We are so happy for you guys. I’m not usually right about guessing the right sex but in this case I was. Go me:) I think I’ve just decided that you and I seem to get more sick with girls than we do with boys. Well, maybe I don’t know if that’s true because I’ve never had a boy. Anyway, yes, Mom is right….another beautiful blue-eyed Thornock girl. I can’t wait to meet her!

That’s so exciting! I hope you’re not sick anymore – that’s the absolute most horrible thing ever. Good luck with everything and I can’t wait to see pics! Love you girlie.

Hooray- can’t wait to meet another adorable Thornock! I should have guessed it was a girl, since they outnumber the boy’s in this family. Congratulations!
